This week our homeschool had a country presentations event. It was held at my dear friend Laura's home. She and her two boys set out "set" tables. Each student who researched a country took turns giving an oral speech. Desserts and snacks were prepared and served from each country presented. Let's see... we had: Baklava from Greece, Russian Apple Cake, fried yams from Nigeria, coconut juice and fried banana snacks from Indonesia, a favorite snack from Italy-carmel popcorn treats, and rice and tea from China. Amazingly, no one got a stamach ache!
The children did a fabulous job researhing, speaking, and great art work was shown on their tri-fold boards. Excellent work!
